Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Human Services Worker to join our team. In this role, you will act as a vital link between individuals in need and the social support systems available to them. You will play a key role in empowering clients by helping them navigate complex social service landscapes, ensuring they receive the benefits and support necessary to improve their quality of life.

Requirements:

• Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough interviews with individuals to identify their unique needs, challenges, and goals.

• Education & Guidance: Provide clear information and education regarding available social services, community resources, and individual social responsibilities.

• Application Support: Assist clients in the application process for various social services and government or private benefits, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

• Ongoing Case Management: Offer continuous support to ensure clients are effectively utilizing the services provided and are achieving positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Candidates must possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: Proven professional experience as a Human Services Worker or in a similar social work role is essential.

• Program Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working with social programs and a strong understanding of the support services available to individuals within the Nigerian context.

• Professional Development: Relevant training and/or certifications in human services or social welfare are highly preferred.

• Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a passion for community service and social advocacy.
