Job Description:

  • Lead the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition processes including workforce planning, job postings, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Maintain oversight of employee records, attendance, and performance management systems; ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, training programs, performance reviews, and development planning in collaboration with department leads.
  • Administer staff welfare, compensation, benefits, and health and safety policies, ensuring equitable and compliant implementation.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and point of contact on HR-related matters including conflict resolution, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Monitor and analyze key HR metrics such as turnover, retention, engagement, and absenteeism, delivering insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, HR regulatory standards, and internal policies through audits, documentation, and training.
  • Champion a positive work culture by leading recognition programs, employee events, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Coordinate payroll processes and work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all staff.
     

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR compliance standards, and contemporary HR practices.
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as BambooHR, Zoho People, or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated strength in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) strongly preferred.
