We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- The HR Officer is responsible for implementing and managing day-to-day human resource operations to ensure the effective and efficient management of the organization’s workforce.
- This role encompasses recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.
- The HR Officer plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring adherence to labor laws, and supporting organizational goals through effective HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Prepare and manage employment contracts, offer letters, and other documentation.
- Conduct orientation programs to familiarize new employees with the organization’s policies and culture.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Foster positive relationships between employees and management to promote a harmonious workplace.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Performance Management:
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems and processes.
- Monitor employee performance and provide guidance on areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to address performance issues and implement corrective actions.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and assist in organizing training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Support the development and delivery of leadership and professional development initiatives.
- Maintain training records and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.
Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with data protection regulations.
HR Administration:
- Manage employee attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making processes.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs and resolve related queries.
Organizational Support:
- Support the HR Manager in strategic HR projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of an engaging organizational culture that supports employee well-being and retention.
- Assist in change management processes and organizational restructuring efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD are an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Experience in a multi-business environment or fast-paced organization is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
