Job Description:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to healthcare delivery and aligned with international best practices.
- Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding of clinical, technical, and administrative staff to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee performance management systems, including appraisals, KPIs, and career development pathways.
- Design and implement compensation, benefits, and reward systems that are competitive and supportive of staff welfare.
- Partner with leadership to plan workforce needs, succession strategies, and organizational culture development.
- Lead HR reporting, audits, and workforce analytics to inform management decisions.
- Serve as a trusted adviser to management and staff on HR and workforce-related matters.
- Coordinate staff training, continuing education, and professional development, ensuring compliance with global healthcare HR standards.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes fairly, consistently, and transparently.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian statutory requirements while embedding global best practices in working conditions, fairness, and employee well-being.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in recruitment, performance management, and organizational development.
- Master’s degree and/or HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare workforce regulations, talent management, and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to balance compliance with innovative HR practices in healthcare.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in healthcare or large service organizations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and workforce planning tools.
- Strategic thinking with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
