About Company:
Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited, as leading international player in marine services, offers to the most demanding oil & gas clients worldwide a full line of innovative, safe, high performance and new generation vessels and an expanded offer of offshore oil & gas services.
Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned HR Leader to operate at the high-impact intersection of strategic business partnering and operational governance. This role is designed for a heavyweight professional who can serve as a trusted adviser to senior leadership while maintaining total ownership of the company’s HR infrastructure.
In our safety-critical offshore logistics environment, HR is not just an administrative function; it is a pillar of operational discipline. You will be responsible for the "Central Nervous System" of our people strategy—governing HR policies, architecting performance frameworks, and leading a total reward strategy that balances commercial cost discipline with talent retention. If you have the commercial acumen to link performance to reward in a complex, regulated industry, we want you at the heart of our business.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Business Partnering & Org Design
Executive Advisory: Act as a strategic consultant to senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategy.
Talent Orchestration: Drive high-level workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place to support complex marine and offshore operations.
Change Management: Lead organizational design initiatives that improve efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to safety and operational standards.
2. Performance, Reward & Cost Governance
Total Reward Strategy: Lead the design and execution of salary structures, incentives, and benefit programs, ensuring a competitive yet cost-disciplined annual reward cycle.
Performance Frameworks: Govern the end-to-end performance management system, ensuring a clear, data-driven linkage between individual goal setting and corporate reward.
Commercial Insights: Provide senior management with high-level analytics on workforce costs, productivity trends, and reward ROI to inform fiscal decision-making.
3. Shared Services, Policy & Compliance
Service Standards: Oversee HR Shared Services—including payroll, administration, and data integrity—ensuring "Zero-Error" delivery and high internal service standards.
Policy Governance: Own and govern the global HR policy framework, ensuring absolute compliance with Nigerian Labor Law and industry-specific regulations.
Data Integrity: Manage HRIS and shared service workflows to ensure that people data is accurate, secure, and audit-ready at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Economics, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CIPM, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD) is highly preferred.
Experience: 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, including significant time in a Senior HRBP capacity.
Sector Expertise: Proven experience in Offshore Logistics, Marine Services, or Oil & Gas support is a distinct advantage.
Core Competencies
Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage complex workforce costs and understand the financial drivers of a logistics business.
Governance Mindset: Unwavering commitment to policy consistency and regulatory compliance.
Stakeholder Influence: The gravitas to advise and challenge C-suite leaders effectively.
