Job Description:

We are looking for a smart, proactive, and emotionally intelligent Front Desk Officer who speaks fluent English, communicates clearly, and ensures every customer feels valued and understood. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, is passionate about service, and thrives on effective communication. The right candidate will handle client interactions via phone, WhatsApp, and in person, taking full ownership of customer satisfaction, updates, and conversions.

The role requires attention to detail, tech-savviness, quick thinking, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while staying organized and following through on tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Communication & Engagement

  • Serve as the first point of contact for walk-ins, calls, and WhatsApp inquiries.

  • Communicate fluently and articulately in English with calmness, empathy, and confidence.

  • Understand and address customer inquiries thoroughly, simplifying technical terms when needed.

  • Build rapport and trust with new and returning clients, keeping them informed at every stage.

Data Collection & Lead Management

  • Record full customer details, including Name, Phone Number, Car Make/Model/Year, and service needs.

  • Log all customer interactions into the company database or Excel sheet.

  • Track and classify leads as Hot, Warm, or Cold, updating their status regularly.

  • Keep the customer database accurate, current, and backed up.

WhatsApp & Call Monitoring

  • Review company WhatsApp daily to ensure no messages or leads are missed.

  • Familiarize yourself with ongoing conversations for context and continuity.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries.

  • Return missed calls and follow up on every customer interaction.

Client Updates & Follow-Through

  • Coordinate with the service manager and workshop to get real-time job updates.

  • Provide proactive customer updates without being prompted.

  • Follow up on pending jobs, new inquiries, and inactive leads to ensure no customer is left unattended.

Internal Collaboration

  • Share customer needs, concerns, and follow-up requirements with technicians, service leads, or management.

  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and track them until resolved.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and the team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken English and articulate in writing
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to manage client expectations
  • Highly organized and reliable in record-keeping
  • Able to think on your feet and work without constant instruction once SOPs are provided
  • Genuinely passionate about customer service and solving client problems
  • Excellent phone etiquette and WhatsApp communication style
  • Fast, focused, and intentional about delivering results
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and WhatsApp Business tools

Qualifications and Skills:

  • OND, HND, or equivalent experience in customer service or administrative support
  • 2 year of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Proficient in computer usage and data entry
  • Typing speed and communication clarity is essential
  • Must be available to work full-time on-site

Salary

₦100,000 - ₦150,000/month
