Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Executive Secretary to anchor the administrative engine of LASCOFED. In the complex cooperative ecosystem of Lagos, success is defined by "Governance Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize board-level directives with the clinical precision required for Strategic Leadership, Organizational Development, and Professional Secretariat Standards. This role is designed for an "Administrative Architect" with 10+ years of post-degree experience and professional membership (NIM, ICSAN, or equivalent) who can blend "Diplomatic Grit" (reporting to the President and Board) with the "Operational Agility" required to lead the organization’s growth.
Requirements:
1. Governance Orchestration & Board Stewardship
Reporting Sovereignty: Serve as the primary administrative link to the President, President-in-Council, and Board of Directors, acting as the "Source of Governance Clarity."
Council Architecture: Facilitate high-fidelity board meetings and committee sessions, ensuring every directive acts as a "Source of Actionable Strategy."
Leadership Logic: Provide strategic direction to the administrative organ, providing the "Structural Foundation" for LASCOFED’s mission.
2. Administrative Resilience & Growth Logic
Operational Sovereignty: Oversee the day-to-day management of LASCOFED’s administrative organ with clinical focus, ensuring "Zero-Friction" in organizational execution.
Development Architecture: Identify and implement strategies to drive the federation's growth, acting as the primary "Source of Organizational Evolution."
Stewardship Power: Maintain institutional integrity and professional standards, utilizing ICSAN/NIM expertise to optimize the "Source of Compliance."
3. Professional Integrity & Communication Power
Diplomatic Sovereignty: Manage high-stakes correspondence and external relations with professional poise, acting as the "Source of Institutional Voice."
Tech Architecture: Utilize high-level computer literacy to modernize administrative workflows, optimizing the "Source of Information Accuracy."
Experience Logic: Leverage over a decade of relevant experience to mentor the secretariat team, maximizing the "Source of Human Capital Development."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: First degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, English, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a strategic advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years post-degree relevant experience in senior administrative or secretariat roles.
Certification: Mandatory membership of relevant professional bodies (NIM, ICSAN, ICS, or equivalent).
Core Competencies
Leadership Grit: Proven ability to provide strategic direction in a high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environment.
Technical Sovereignty: Full computer literacy with the ability to manage modern digital office systems.
Age Limit: Candidate must not be more than 45 years of age by 1st June 2026.
