We are a successful manufacturing company with operations at Offa and Head Office at Ilorin. 

We’re looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This isn't just a number-crunching role. It's an opportunity to be a key player in our company's future, shaping our financial strategy and guiding our continued expansion.

The role reports to the CEO and offers the incumbent an opportunity to work on a rotational ‘on site’ and remote.

Main responsibility:

You'll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, from budgeting and forecasting to risk management and capital allocation. We need a CFO who can not only manage the day-to-day but also see the bigger picture—someone who can identify new opportunities, optimize our financial performance, and help us navigate the challenges of a dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance, accounting, and treasury departments.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support our business goals.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to guide executive decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
  • Manage corporate finance, including capital raising, debt management, and investor relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural setting.
  • A degree or higher diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and an ACCA; an MBA is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
