Job Description:

Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited is seeking a high-caliber Finance Officer to serve as the strategic anchor of our financial and tax operations in Nigeria. In the high-stakes extractive and industrial sector, fiscal excellence is defined by precise tax compliance and seamless government relations. This role is designed for a "Statutory Specialist", a professional with at least 5 years of experience who can navigate the complexities of Nigerian tax laws, royalty payments, and multi-agency auditing.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Liability Fiscal Operations." You will be responsible for the entire statutory lifecycle: from managing Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) processing and direct liaisons with the FIRS/State IRS to overseeing royalty payments and audit readiness. If you possess "Regulatory Grit" and the professional maturity to represent the company before government bodies, we want you to govern our financial health.

Requirements:

1. Tax Governance & Remittance Excellence

• Comprehensive Filings: Lead the end-to-end execution of tax filings and remittances, ensuring 100% accuracy and punctuality for PAYE, VAT, WHT, CIT, and Education Tax.

• TCC Management: Take full ownership of the Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) process, ensuring the company and relevant stakeholders remain in good standing with federal and state authorities.

• Statutory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and State Internal Revenue Services, managing inquiries, desk reviews, and field audits with professional diplomacy.

2. Industrial Finance & Royalty Management

• Royalty Stewardship: Manage and verify Royalty Payments, ensuring all calculations align with Nigerian mining and industrial regulations and are remitted to the appropriate government bodies.

• Audit Orchestration: Coordinate internal and external auditing processes, maintaining high-integrity financial controls and providing auditors with a transparent, "Audit-Ready" trail of all transactions.

• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in Nigerian tax laws and extractive industry regulations, providing management with data-driven insights on their implications for the business.

3. Financial Reporting & Government Relations

• High-Integrity Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports that accurately reflect the company's fiscal position, ensuring alignment with both IFRS and local statutory requirements.

• Government Agency Liaison: Leverage your experience working with government bodies to streamline approvals, certifications, and compliance certifications.

• Fiscal Optimization: Identify legal opportunities for tax efficiency while ensuring the company remains beyond reproach regarding its ethical and legal obligations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Certification: ICAN / ACCA qualification is a significant competitive advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior finance or tax-focused role, preferably within the industrial, mining, or manufacturing sectors.
