Job Description:

We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Cashier to manage our front-end financial transactions. As the final point of contact for our guests, you play a dual role: ensuring the integrity of our revenue while providing a seamless, professional farewell that reinforces our commitment to excellent service.

In this role, you will handle diverse payment methods—from cash and POS to mobile transfers—requiring high numerical accuracy and honesty. You will work in a fast-paced environment where speed must be balanced with meticulous record-keeping. Requirements:

1. Transactional Integrity & Cash Management

• Multi-Channel Payments: Process customer payments via cash, POS terminals, and digital transfers with 100% accuracy.

• Daily Reconciliation: Perform end-of-shift "Z-Reports," balancing the physical cash drawer against system records and investigating any discrepancies immediately.

• Fiscal Reporting: Prepare daily sales logs and submit reconciled cash and receipts to the accountant or manager at the close of business.

2. Guest Relations & Service Excellence

• The Final Impression: Greet guests warmly and ensure the billing process is transparent and efficient, answering any inquiries regarding service charges or menu pricing.

• Conflict Resolution: Handle basic payment-related complaints with a polite, "guest-first" attitude, escalating complex billing disputes to management when necessary.

• Professionalism: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workstation that reflects the high standards of the lounge.

3. Operational Compliance & Teamwork

• Revenue Safeguarding: Strictly adhere to company financial policies and security protocols to prevent loss or unauthorized transactions.

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Coordinate with waitstaff and the kitchen to verify order accuracy before billing, ensuring "leaks" and errors are caught before they reach the guest.

• Technical Proficiency: Utilize the restaurant's POS software and basic Excel sheets to maintain real-time sales documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: OND in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience: 1 – 2 years of experience as a Cashier, Teller, or Sales Attendant, ideally within the hospitality or retail sector.

• Skills: Strong numerical ability and basic accounting knowledge.

Core Competencies

• Integrity: A proven track record of honesty and accountability in handling large volumes of cash.

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic Microsoft Excel.

• Stress Tolerance: Ability to remain calm, polite, and accurate during peak "rush" hours in a busy lounge environment.
