Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity Sales & Redistribution Officer to take ownership of product availability and retail dominance within an assigned territory. You won't just be "selling"; you will be an architect of market share, ensuring our products are not only present in every outlet but are the most visible and preferred choice for consumers.

Your mission is to execute a relentless redistribution strategy, appointing new retailers, and driving shelf excellence. Requirements:

1. Territory Command & Redistribution Excellence

  • Strategic Coverage: Execute a disciplined Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) to ensure 100% coverage of assigned retail outlets.

  • Order Generation: Drive sales volume by securing consistent orders and identifying high-potential locations for appointing new retailers.

  • Service Leadership: Provide expert sales support to appointed retailers, ensuring they are well-stocked and aligned with company sales targets.

2. Market Intelligence & Tactical Feedback

  • Trade Monitoring: Act as the "eyes and ears" of the brand, providing real-time feedback on market happenings and consumer trends.

  • Competitor Tracking: Monitor and report on competitor pricing, promotional campaigns, and shelf-share tactics.

  • Opportunity Spotting: Proactively identify and report untapped market opportunities to gain a competitive edge.

3. Merchandising & Consumer Engagement

  • Visibility Leadership: Ensure products are dominant on shelves and that Point-of-Sale (POS) materials are strategically placed for maximum impact.

  • Promotional Execution: Lead in-bar and consumer-focused events to drive brand trial and loyalty.

  • Asset Management: Monitor and report on the condition of Billboards, Out-of-Home (OOH) media, and deployed POS assets.

4. Personal Effectiveness & Reporting

  • Journey Planning: Develop and adhere to a weekly PJP authorized by the Regional Business Manager (RBM).

  • Metrics & Analysis: Prepare weekly and monthly reports detailing sales performance, expenses, and market feedback.

  • Operational Discipline: Collate weekly expenses for approval, ensuring full alignment with company financial policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, specifically within the FMCG or Manufacturing industry.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Tools (Excel and Word) for sales reporting and tracking.

  • Communication: Solid verbal and written communication skills to manage both retailers and management reporting.
