Job Description:
- We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to meet the organisation’s workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Create and post job descriptions on various job boards and social media platforms.
- Utilize diverse channels to advertise job openings and reach a wide pool of candidates.
- Proactively source candidates through online databases, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
- Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Administer assessments and evaluate candidates’ skills and qualifications.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate regularly with candidates to keep them informed about their application status.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers during the interview and selection process.
- Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
- Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve the hiring process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the trading and manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to assess candidates accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
