Job Description:

  • We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to meet the organisation’s workforce needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Create and post job descriptions on various job boards and social media platforms.
  • Utilize diverse channels to advertise job openings and reach a wide pool of candidates.
  • Proactively source candidates through online databases, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Administer assessments and evaluate candidates’ skills and qualifications.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to keep them informed about their application status.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers during the interview and selection process.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve the hiring process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the trading and manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to assess candidates accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
