About Company:

Samuel Orukotan Investments Ltd purchases non-ferrous and ferrous metals for end-of-life recycling. We provide full support for industrial manufacturers, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible scrap management.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• Take a head count of the apprentices attached to him.
• Call those who are absent and report the same to the personnel officer.
• Monitor weighment of goods in his section, record it in the section record book, and transfer the record of the same to the Cash/Records officer.
• Generates sectional inventory for comparing notes with the C.O to verify if their records correlate.
• Shall be liable if there's sa hortfall in the stock of the sectional goods he purchased.
• Report directly to the Operations Manager any matter of concern regarding suppliers and apprentices, and any other matters arising.
• Hold an appraisal meeting with the apprentices attached to him at least once a week, and a report of the same should be documented and forwarded to the manager
• Ensures that the apprentices attached to him adheres and to all values of the organization and complies with all directives given as it applies to them.
• Be a good representative of the company to suppliers and everyone other person as the case may be.
• Represent the company in any case that arises from any defect in his intake/purchase of any goods in his section.
• Attend all scheduled and impromptu statutory meetings.
• Carry out any other assignments in line with his duty as may be assigned by the Operations Manager and CEO.

Requirements:

• Minimum Higher National Diploma or bachelor’s degree 
• Completed National Youth Service Corp  
• At least 1 year of experience 
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and has good communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
