Job Description:
We are seeking a highly disciplined and versatile General Supervisor to lead our hotel operations and serve as the primary enforcer of our standards of excellence. This role demands an "all-terrain" leader who understands every facet of hospitality—from the front gates (security) to the back-of-house (kitchen). You will be responsible for standardizing operations, managing departmental synergy, and ensuring that every guest experience is consistent and high-quality. Requirements:
1. Operational Oversight & Quality Control
Departmental Synergy: Oversee daily operations across all departments (Rooms, F&B, Security, and Maintenance) to ensure maximum efficiency.
Standardization: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a consistent guest experience regardless of which shift is on duty.
Facility Maintenance: Regularly assess facilities and services to ensure they meet or exceed brand standards.
2. Financial & Strategic Performance
Revenue Drive: Monitor financial and operational metrics to ensure the hotel meets its weekly and monthly profit targets.
Growth Strategy: Formulate and execute plans to enhance business growth, identify new revenue streams, and stay ahead of local competitors.
Resource Allocation: Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation to reduce waste while maintaining luxury service standards.
3. Leadership & People Management
Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performance team. You are responsible for inspiring staff to deliver "outstanding" rather than just "adequate" service.
Performance Culture: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Conflict Resolution: Address guest complaints and internal staff grievances professionally and promptly to maintain a harmonious environment.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
Safety Protocols: Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and hospitality regulatory requirements.
Security & Loss Prevention: Oversee the security department to protect the organization’s interests and guest safety.
Risk Assessment: Implement proactive measures to mitigate operational and financial risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven Tenure: 1–2 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry with a track record of operational success.
Core Competencies
Holistic Knowledge: A deep understanding of how all hotel departments (Security, Kitchen, Front Desk, Housekeeping) interconnect.
Leadership: Strong decision-making abilities and the poise to lead under pressure.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Hospitality Management Software (PMS) and digital reporting tools.
Interpersonal Mastery: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to influence diverse teams.
