Job Description:

We are seeking a competent, results-driven Store Manager to take full ownership of our retail operations in Wuse 2, Abuja. This is a high-visibility role for a proactive professional who thrives on autonomy and accountability. You will not just be managing a store; you will be acting as a business owner on the ground driving sales, mentoring your team, and ensuring that every customer who walks through our doors (or interacts with our delivery service) receives a world-class experience.

Requirements:

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the store is in a state of "perfect readiness" before opening, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, visual merchandising, and inventory organization.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise store assistants and coordinate the logistics of delivery riders to ensure timely and professional service.

  • Financial Stewardship: Meticulously track daily sales, expenses, and transactions. You will be responsible for the accuracy of these records and for reporting performance metrics to leadership.

  • Growth & Revenue: Actively implement strategies to boost foot traffic and increase revenue. You will be the engine behind our local sales growth.

  • Reporting: Provide timely, data-backed performance updates that give us a clear picture of store health and sales trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Proven, verifiable experience in retail, sales, or store management.

  • Residency: Must be based in Abuja, with a strong preference for candidates living in or near Wuse 2 for optimal reliability.

  • Character: A high degree of trustworthiness, personal responsibility, and a strong sense of ownership.

  • Key Competencies:

    • Commercial Acumen: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and upsell effectively.

    • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; you should be as comfortable interacting with customers as you are coordinating with your team.

    • Organization: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.

    • Bonus Skills: Basic knowledge of social media marketing or online sales is a significant advantage in today’s retail landscape.

Salary

N150,000/month + Performance Bonus
