Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Store Attendant / Logistics Officer to manage the daily flow of products from our shelves to our customers. This hybrid role requires someone who is equally skilled at customer service and logistics coordination. You will be responsible for creating an inviting store environment, processing orders with precision, and managing the critical "last-mile" dispatch to motor parks. The ideal candidate is emotionally intelligent, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

1. Store Operations & Customer Experience

• Customer Relations: Greet and assist customers, ensuring they have a seamless shopping experience.

• Merchandising: Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of products to drive sales and ease of access.

• Order Processing: Use accuracy and speed to process customer orders, ensuring the correct items are billed and retrieved.

• Housekeeping: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order within the store premises.

2. Order Fulfillment & Logistics

• Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick items from inventory and pack them securely for transit, minimizing the risk of damage.

• Dispatch Management: Handle the logistics of moving goods to motor parks for onward delivery, ensuring items are handed over to reliable transporters.

• Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous logs of all dispatches, including waybill numbers, driver details, and delivery timelines to ensure items are easily tracked.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: OND or HND holders are preferred.

• Proven Tenure: Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail, storekeeping, or logistics is preferred.

Core Competencies

• Soft Skills: High level of Emotional Intelligence and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and helpful demeanor.

• Punctuality: Exceptional time management skills to meet dispatch deadlines at motor parks.
