Apex Imperium deals with the sales and distribution of polyethylene products, and sacks.

Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven Retail Sales Executive to drive the growth of our polyethylene and industrial packaging portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct retail sale of high-quality plastic products, ranging from shopping bags and film wraps to heavy-duty industrial sacks. You will identify retail opportunities, manage customer relationships, and ensure our products are the preferred choice for vendors, small businesses, and industrial end-users. If you are a persuasive communicator with a deep understanding of the packaging market, we want you on our team.

Requirements:

1. Sales Execution & Market Penetration

  • Direct Retail Sales: Drive daily sales of polyethylene products (LDPE/HDPE) and woven sacks to retailers, wholesalers, and end-users.

  • Prospecting: Actively identify and onboard new retail outlets, supermarkets, and industrial clients requiring specialized packaging solutions.

  • Product Education: Advise customers on the technical specifications of our products, such as micron thickness, tensile strength, and load-bearing capacity for various sack types.

2. Customer Relationship & Account Management

  • Order Management: Oversee the end-to-end sales process, ensuring accurate order taking, timely delivery, and professional after-sales support.

  • Feedback Loop: Gather and report customer feedback regarding product quality and market pricing to help the production team stay competitive.

  • Inventory Monitoring: Track retail stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure high-demand products are always available for your clients.

3. Performance & Reporting

  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales volume targets for all polyethylene product lines.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and pricing in the retail space, providing regular reports to management.

  • Reconciliation: Ensure all retail transactions are properly documented and that payments are remitted in line with company policy.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience & Skills

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the sales of plastic products, polyethylene films, or industrial sacks is highly preferred.

  • Sales Prowess: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with a track record of meeting retail targets.

  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers, from market traders to corporate procurement officers.

  • Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of polymer types (HDPE vs. LDPE) and their specific retail applications.

Salary

N60,000 - N65,000 monthly.
