Job Description:

The Revenue Manager is a key strategic architect responsible for maximizing the hotel’s profitability and market share. This role is built for a data-driven leader who can translate complex market signals into actionable pricing and distribution strategies. You will move beyond simple room sales to manage the total revenue ecosystem—optimizing Average Daily Rate (ADR), occupancy, and RevPAR. By collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations, you will ensure our pricing is dynamic, our inventory is distributed efficiently, and our financial forecasts are pinpoint accurate.

 

Requirements:

1. Yield Management & Pricing Strategy

  • Dynamic Pricing: Develop and execute sophisticated pricing strategies based on demand patterns, seasonal trends, and specialized yield management techniques.

  • Inventory Optimization: Manage room inventory across all distribution channels (Direct, OTAs, GDS) to ensure the highest possible yield for every available room.

  • Distribution Strategy: Audit and manage third-party platforms to ensure brand parity and optimal channel mix.

2. Analytical Forecasting & Market Intelligence

  • Predictive Modeling: Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly forecasts for Occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR to drive the hotel's financial planning.

  • Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct rigorous market research and "Comp Set" analysis using tools like STR reports to identify growth opportunities.

  • Performance Reporting: Generate and present deep-dive revenue reports to senior management, highlighting KPIs and strategic pivots.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Sales & Marketing Alignment: Partner with Sales and Marketing to design promotional campaigns that fill low-occupancy periods without diluting brand value.

  • Pre-Opening Strategic Support: (If applicable) Lead the setup of revenue systems, rate structures, and distribution architecture for new properties.

  • Staff Mentorship: Train and develop the internal team on revenue management tools and a "profit-first" mindset.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Experience & Education

  • Tenure: Minimum of 5 years of core revenue management experience within the hospitality industry.

  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record in managing ADR and RevPAR growth; Pre-Opening experience is a high-value advantage.

  • Location: Preference will be given to local candidates with deep knowledge of the regional market and competitive landscape.

Technical Competencies

  • Analytical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard Revenue Management Systems (RMS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present data-driven arguments to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Market Intuition: A strong pulse on current digital travel trends, OTA algorithms, and social media’s impact on booking behavior.
