Job Description:

Mintyn Digital Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to safeguard the reliability and performance of our digital banking ecosystem. As a licensed digital bank, our customers rely on us for seamless personal and business transactions, investments, and marketplace access.

Your mission is to ensure that every release—whether it’s a new investment feature or a marketplace update—meets the highest standards of quality, security, and user experience. You will be the final gatekeeper, working at the intersection of development and product to identify bugs, conduct regression testing, and ensure a frictionless journey for our users. Requirements:

1. Test Strategy & Execution

• Technical Requirement Analysis: Review product specifications to understand expected behaviors and edge cases.

• Comprehensive Test Lifecycle: Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, scenarios, and manual test cases for both web and mobile platforms.

• Regression & Smoke Testing: Conduct rigorous testing cycles post-bug-fixes to ensure new updates don't compromise existing functionalities.

2. Bug Lifecycle & Collaboration

• Defect Documentation: Identify, log, and track bugs using industry-standard tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp), providing clear reproduction steps for developers.

• Developer Synergy: Work embedded within Agile squads to verify fixes and improve product functionality in real-time.

• UAT Leadership: Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the product meets the business requirements and the end-user's expectations.

3. Performance & Quality Standards

• Cross-Platform Consistency: Ensure products perform seamlessly across Android, iOS, and various web browsers.

• Fintech Reliability: Uphold stringent quality standards to protect the integrity of financial transactions and data privacy.

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) to advocate for quality-driven development.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: Proven experience as a QA Tester, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar role.

• Methodology: Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile workflows.

• Testing Mastery: Deep expertise in manual testing methodologies.

Technical Competencies

• Bug Tracking: Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.

• Analytical IQ: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

• Documentation: Ability to write clear, concise, and professional technical reports and test cases.

Nice to Have:

• Automation: Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Mobile & API: Experience testing native mobile apps and basic knowledge of Postman/API testing.

• Industry: Prior exposure to Fintech or fast-paced startup environments.
