Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and battle-tested Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to serve as the technical architect of our client’s future. This is a role for a "Builder-Leader"—a seasoned technologist who remains deeply connected to product development while possessing the executive presence to lead at the board level.
As the CTO, you will own the end-to-end technology strategy, system architecture, and engineering delivery. Your mission is to transform ambitious business concepts into scalable, secure, and resilient digital platforms. You will be responsible for building high-performing engineering cultures and navigating the technical rigors of highly regulated environments. If you have 10–15+ years of experience and a proven track record of scaling products from MVP to high-traffic enterprise systems, we invite you to lead our technology organization.
Requirements:
1. Technology Strategy & Enterprise Architecture
Architectural Sovereignty: Define and oversee the core system architecture, infrastructure, and tech stack decisions to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
Product-Tech Roadmap: Partner with Business and Operations leads to translate the product vision into a high-velocity engineering roadmap.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all digital assets adhere to the highest standards of data protection and regulatory compliance (especially critical for Fintech/Banking).
2. Engineering Leadership & High-Performance Culture
Team Orchestration: Build, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and product managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Engineering Standards: Drive agile methodologies and modern engineering best practices, including CI/CD, TDD, and rigorous code reviews.
Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and spearhead recruitment and upskilling initiatives to maintain a top-tier engineering workforce.
3. Executive Execution & Growth Support
Technical Delivery: Own the outcomes of technical execution, managing timelines, risks, and resource allocation to ensure 100% uptime and performance.
Strategic Advisory: Support technical decision-making at the executive and board levels, providing insights on fundraising, due diligence, and technical audits.
Scalability Stewardship: Oversee the transition of products from early-stage prototypes to high-traffic or enterprise-grade environments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 10–15+ years in software engineering with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering, or Director).
Hands-on Mastery: Proven experience building and shipping production-grade products, with a deep background in full-stack development.
Industry IQ: Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, and system security. Experience in Fintech or Banking is a significant advantage.
