Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Offshore Construction Lead to drive the technical execution and installation of the HA Development Project. Reporting to the Offshore Construction Manager, you will be the primary architect behind the transportation and installation (T&I) of critical infrastructure, including in-country jackets and piles, and international topsides and bridges.

Your mission is to manage the high-stakes interface between global fabricators and T&I contractors, ensuring structural integrity and seamless handover to the Hook-up and Commissioning (HUC) phase. This role requires a master of SIMOPs (Simultaneous Operations), a disciplined leader of HSSE Goal Zero targets, and a technical expert capable of delivering mega-projects within aggressive cost and schedule constraints. Requirements:

1. T&I Orchestration & Structural Integrity

  • Global Scope Management: Lead the T&I for in-country fabrication (jackets/piles) and out-of-country scopes (topsides/bridges), ensuring schedule adherence and cost control.

  • Load-out Supervision: Support the critical load-out operations for three jacket structures and associated piles (EPF2) and three topside structures/bridges (EPF1).

  • Engineering Assurance: Manage transportation and installation designs; undertake rigorous structural integrity assessments to mitigate technical risks during transit and placement.

2. Interface & Risk Governance

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Manage complex T&I interfaces across Wells, EPF1, EPF2, HUC, and Pipelay groups to ensure zero operational friction.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively participate in technical reviews to identify risks in jacket and bridge installations, proposing engineering solutions and utilizing the Management of Change (MOC) process.

  • Operational Discipline: Deliver risk-mitigation strategies through the rigorous review of inspection and maintenance procedures, identifying opportunities for cost-saving.

3. HSSE Leadership & High-Performance Culture

  • Goal Zero Commitment: Demonstrate visible leadership in HSSE, ensuring 100% compliance with Life Saving Rules and managing major emergency response readiness.

  • Team Empowerment: Set up a culture of transparent communication and collaboration, coaching a high-performing team to thrive under challenging offshore conditions.

  • SIMOPs Mastery: Expertly manage the risks associated with multiple contractors and simultaneous activities in shallow water environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Graduate degree in an Engineering discipline.

  • Regulation: COREN registered with deep knowledge of project engineering systems and tools.

  • Experience: * Minimum 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry.

    • At least 10 years in offshore execution.

    • At least 5 years in a dedicated Offshore Lead position.

Core Competencies

  • Contract Management: Proven track record in managing complex contracts and maintaining healthy contractor relationships.

  • Technical Depth: Expertise in marine utilities, lifting and hoisting, and aviation logistics.

  • Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the resilience to lead in a high-pressure, potentially overseas fabrication or offshore environment.

  • Project Management: Advanced qualifications in project management (PMP/PRINCE2) are highly valued.
