Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Procurement & Operations Officer to serve as a key architect of our supply chain and internal efficiency. This dual-impact role requires a professional who can navigate the complexities of strategic sourcing while ensuring that daily operational workflows remain seamless and cost-effective. You will be responsible for everything from high-stakes supplier negotiations to the granular details of inventory movement and logistics. Requirements:
1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Governance
Supplier Lifecycle Management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with global and local suppliers to secure contracts that balance quality, lead time, and cost-effectiveness.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to strict organizational policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining audit-ready records.
Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging suppliers and analyze pricing trends to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Operational Logistics & Inventory Flow
Workflow Optimization: Coordinate logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes to ensure that materials move through the organization with zero friction.
Bottleneck Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve operational risks or "choke points" that threaten productivity or project timelines.
Logistics Coordination: Support the planning and implementation of broader operational strategies to ensure day-to-day activities align with long-term business goals.
3. Performance Analytics & Cross-Functional Synergy
KPI Stewardship: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Order Cycle Time, Inventory Turnover, and Supplier Performance Ratings to drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Sales, and Production teams to streamline internal workflows and ensure procurement supports all business units.
Requisition Management: Efficiently process purchase orders and requisitions, ensuring accuracy from initial request to final delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Background
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a dual Procurement and Operations role.
Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for spend analysis and trend forecasting.
Tech Literacy: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory management software.
Core Competencies
Negotiation Mastery: Proven ability to influence suppliers and secure favorable commercial terms.
Operational Agility: Ability to pivot between high-level strategy and hands-on logistics management.
