Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Pharmacist to ensure the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence. You will serve as a key clinical advisor, bridging the gap between medical prescriptions and patient wellness. The ideal candidate is a registered professional with a commitment to regulatory integrity, patient safety, and efficient inventory management in a community or retail pharmacy setting.

Requirements:

• Dispensing & Patient Advocacy: Accurately verify and dispense medications while providing essential counseling on dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.

• Clinical Intervention: Review prescriptions for therapeutic compatibility and contraindications. Conduct wellness services, including blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring.

• Operational Governance: Oversee daily pharmacy workflows, including staff supervision, stock management, and expiry date monitoring.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to PCN (Pharmacists Council of Nigeria) and NAFDAC guidelines, particularly concerning the handling, storage, and documentation of controlled substances.

• Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous patient records and financial documentation within our pharmacy management system.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from an accredited institution.

• Experience: 2–4 years of post-NYSC experience specifically in a retail or community pharmacy environment.

• Licensure: Must hold a valid, active license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).

• Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of drug interactions and therapeutic classes.

  • Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills.

  • Proven experience in inventory control and team supervision.

  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software is highly desired.
