Job Description:
We are seeking a smart, proactive, and sales-driven Pharmacy / Sales Assistant to be the heartbeat of our community pharmacy. This role is perfect for a healthcare-passionate individual who excels at blending high-level customer service with aggressive sales tactics. You will not only manage inventory and support the Pharmacist; you will also be our content creator, educating our community on wellness and driving revenue through persistent, professional customer engagement.
Requirements:
Sales & Growth: Drive revenue by actively promoting wellness products, supplements, and personal care items. Use consultative selling techniques to upsell and cross-sell while ensuring every customer leaves feeling valued.
Patient Advocacy & CRM: Build long-term loyalty by maintaining a patient follow-up tracker. Provide medication adherence reminders, refill prompts, and wellness support, ensuring no customer falls out of their care cycle.
Inventory Stewardship: Maintain the "retail backbone" of the pharmacy. Execute precise stock counts, enforce FIFO/FEFO rotation, and ensure shelves are visually appealing and perfectly stocked.
Content Creation: Act as our digital wellness voice. Research and write engaging health articles, wellness tips, and social media content that simplifies complex health topics for our audience.
Pharmacy Operations: Provide seamless support to the Pharmacist, assist in prescription processing, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and professional organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum of a B.Sc. or relevant qualification in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Health Science, or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record in pharmacy retail, healthcare sales, or customer-focused retail. Note: Strong sales ability is a non-negotiable prerequisite.
Competencies:
Communication & Writing: Ability to explain health products clearly and write engaging, accurate wellness content.
Technical Literacy: Proficient in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail regarding stock reconciliation and patient records.
Soft Skills: You must be honest, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a high-traffic retail environment.
