Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated, professional, and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our clinical team in Abuja. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary medical care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and ensuring that every patient receives compassionate and evidence-based care. The ideal candidate will combine clinical excellence with strong communication skills and a deep commitment to the well-being of our community.
Requirements:
Clinical Consultation: Conduct thorough patient consultations, perform physical examinations, and diagnose medical conditions.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement effective treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.
Patient Advocacy: Educate patients on preventative care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices with a patient-focused, empathetic approach.
Collaboration: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team of nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure holistic patient care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient medical records in line with clinical standards.
Emergency Response: Provide prompt and professional response to medical emergencies as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) or equivalent.
License: Must have a valid and current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
Residency: Must reside within Gwarinpa or its immediate environs to ensure reliable and timely response to clinical duties.
