Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical, ethically grounded, and certified Psychometrician / Psychologist to join our talent evaluation team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end candidate assessment framework, leveraging scientific methodologies to evaluate aptitude, cognitive ability, and behavioral traits. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between raw psychological data and actionable talent decisions, translating complex test metrics into comprehensive corporate reports for high-level clients and internal HR stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines a deep academic understanding of human behavior with the commercial acumen required to operate in a high-stakes corporate consulting environment.
Requirements:
Assessment Administration & Execution
End-to-End Evaluation: Design, coordinate, and execute comprehensive psychometric and behavioral assessment pipelines for a diverse pool of candidates.
Tool Deployment: Administer a wide array of validated testing instruments, including cognitive ability tests, situational judgment tests (SJTs), emotional intelligence matrices, and standardized personality profiles.
Collaboration: Partner closely with recruitment and talent acquisition teams to align assessment batteries with specific job descriptions and core competency frameworks.
Data Interpretation & Business Intelligence
Psychometric Analysis: Interpret complex data outputs from various assessment platforms, identifying behavioral trends, leadership potential, and culture-fit indicators.
Reporting: Draft detailed, objective, and high-quality assessment reports that clearly articulate a candidate's strengths, developmental areas, and overall suitability.
Client Advisory: Present and explain analytical findings to corporate clients and senior stakeholders, offering data-driven recommendations to minimize bad-hire risks.
Compliance, Ethics & Innovation
Data Privacy: Maintain rigorous internal controls to ensure absolute confidentiality, security, and integrity of all candidate psychological records and test scores.
Methodology Evolution: Continuous evaluation and updating of the firm's assessment stack, ensuring tools remain non-biased, modern, and aligned with international psychometric standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Mandatory Credentials
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a highly related behavioral science field.
Certification: Professional certification in Psychometrics or a recognized assessment discipline is mandatory (e.g., British Psychological Society (BPS) Test User certification, SHL, Hogrefe, or equivalent platform certifications).
Professional Experience
Seniority: Minimum of 2 years of progressive, post-qualification experience administering and interpreting assessments within a corporate HR department or a management consulting firm.
Client Facing: Proven history of managing relationships with corporate clients and navigating candidate interactions with extreme professionalism and empathy.
Core Skills & Location
Technical Rigor: Deep knowledge of psychometric principles (reliability, validity, norming groups) and major testing platforms.
Communication: Exceptional report-writing skills with the ability to turn complex psychometric data into clear, jargon-free business insights.
Geographic Proximity: Must reside within a commutable distance to Lekki, Lagos to facilitate seamless on-site operations and client briefing sessions.
