Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile and tech-savvy Marketing / Media Officer to lead our brand’s growth and digital presence from our Gbagada office. This role is designed for a creative professional who can bridge the gap between traditional field marketing and modern digital strategy. You will be responsible for everything from high-level strategy development and B2B relationship building to hands-on content creation using AI and multimedia tools.
The ideal candidate is a proactive "all-rounder" who is comfortable both making cold calls to prospective clients and managing complex paid ad campaigns across multiple social platforms.
Requirements:
Strategic & Field Marketing
Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with business growth objectives.
Direct Outreach: Organize field marketing activities, manage B2B relations, deliver professional presentations, and initiate cold calls to acquire new clients.
Market Intelligence: Analyze industry trends and competitor activity to keep the brand positioned effectively.
Digital Communications & Social Media
Multichannel Management: Oversee all social media platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), ensuring high-quality posting and active community engagement.
Digital Strategy: Develop and implement communication strategies that increase brand visibility and digital footprint.
Web Oversight: Manage and update website content, ensuring it is user-friendly and optimized for Search Engines (SEO).
Content Creation & AI Integration
Tech-Driven Content: Leverage AI and modern tech tools to produce compelling articles, blogs, newsletters, and multimedia materials.
Visual Design: Design professional marketing collateral, including posters, brochures, infographics, and engaging short-form videos/reels.
Material Dissemination: Oversee the production and distribution of all physical and digital marketing materials.
Campaign Management & Analytics
Paid Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns, including Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Search.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital strategies.
Reporting: Provide detailed monthly and campaign-specific performance reports to management with actionable insights.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and direct sales/B2B marketing.
Technical & Creative Skills
Digital Ads: Proficiency in managing Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Ads.
Design & Multimedia: Ability to use design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing software for reels and short-form content.
AI Literacy: Familiarity with AI tools for content generation and marketing automation.
Core Competencies
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both content writing and client presentations.
Sales Grit: The confidence and persistence required for cold calling and field marketing.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and adjust strategies based on performance reports.
