About Company:
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited (NNEC)'s mission is to provide all clients with high quality, cost-effective, on-schedule engineering, project management, inspection and environmental services. NNEC is committed to design and build more efficient, safer, reliable, and environmentally friendly facilities for the betterment of our clients and their communities.
Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Logistics Advisor (Level 3) to serve as the subject matter expert and operational architect for our frontier upstream activities. This is a senior-level role designed for a "Frontier Specialist"—someone who can enter a remote region with no existing infrastructure and build a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient logistics engine from the ground up.
Based in Nigeria with offshore rotations to the MODU, your mission is to serve as the primary contact for all logistical and materials management services. You will bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution, managing everything from aviation and marine services to ground transportation and camp services. If you possess the engineering mindset required to develop new supply bases and the diplomatic skill to mentor national personnel while ensuring 100% compliance with OIMS, DOAG, and PSC/JOA requirements, we want you to lead our logistics expansion.
Requirements:
1. Frontier Startup & Operational Architecture
Infrastructure Design: Lead the setup of new supply base operations, material control functions, and shore-based services in remote or international frontier regions.
Team Engineering: Supervise, train, and mentor national logistics personnel, moving the organization from the initial "start-up" phase to a mature, affiliate stage of operations.
Process Standardization: Translate complex international procedures into localized working policies that ensure smooth material movements to offshore and onshore rig locations.
2. Performance Governance & Control
Metrics & KPIs: Develop and maintain rigorous KPIs to track the efficiency of supply base operations and logistics source contracts.
Regulatory & PSC Compliance: Ensure 100% alignment with local in-country regulations, Production Sharing Contracts (PSC), and Joint Operating Agreements (JOA).
Internal Assessments: Periodically perform internal audits to assure total compliance with OIMS (Operations Integrity Management System) and DOAG (Delegation of Authority Guide) standards.
3. Integrated Drilling Support & Safety
Drill Team Alignment: Serve as the strategic liaison for the Drill Team to ensure all logistical services meet the specific technical objectives and timelines of the drilling program.
SSHE Leadership: Actively participate in the Company’s SHE Management System, ensuring that all logistics activities (Aviation, Marine, Ground) conform to environmental and safety standards.
Contract Administration: Demonstrate sound ethical practices in the supervision of local labor, oilfield accounting, and inventory control.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related Technical degree.
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in supply and logistics, with a proven track record in international frontier operations.
Sector Expertise: Deep knowledge of Upstream Operations (Drilling support), including specialized materials, equipment, and oilfield services.
Field Requirement: Ability to fulfill Offshore rotations to a Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU).
Core Competencies
Startup Agility: Proven ability to build new operations from the ground up in truly remote regions.
Interpersonal Mastery: Strong networking skills across Production, Development, Projects, and Exploration departments.
Functional Depth: Expertise in SSHE management, general marine operations, and maintenance coordination.
