Job Description:

We are seeking a technically agile and business-conscious Junior Network Solutions Engineer (NYSC) to join our team in Surulere. In the enterprise IT sector, success is defined by "Technical Persuasion", the ability to design robust network architectures that solve real-world business challenges. This role is designed for a "Solutions Architect in Training" who can blend "Hands-on Cisco Configuration" with the "Strategic Grit" required to support the sales lifecycle through RFPs and technical demonstrations.

Your mission is to ensure "Technical Accuracy in Client Proposals and Seamless Infrastructure Design." You will be a vital link between the sales team and the engineering department: responsible for building Proof of Concepts (POCs), answering technical RFI/RFPs, and presenting tailored technology solutions to enterprise customers. If you possess "Analytical Precision," a degree in Computer Science, and an interest in becoming CCNA certified, we want you to drive our innovation.

Requirements:

1. Pre-Sales Support & Technical Architecture

• Technical Qualification: Assist the sales team in identifying the technical requirements of prospective opportunities to ensure solution viability.

• Proposal Engineering: Provide expert technical answers for Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).

• Solution Design: Understand complex IT infrastructures and assist in designing tailored network architectures that align with client success metrics.

2. Technical Demonstration & POC Management

• Proof of Concept (POC): Build and manage custom demonstrations or Proof of Concepts to prove the value of our technology solutions to enterprise clients.

• Cisco Stewardship: Utilize hands-on knowledge of Cisco switches and routers to configure test environments and validate network designs.

• Engagement & Presentation: Deliver technical presentations to customers, translating complex network jargon into actionable business benefits.

3. Operational Support & Reporting

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to ensure a unified approach to client solutions.

• Administrative Governance: Manage daily reporting and administrative tasks, ensuring all technical documentation and client communications are filed accurately.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging IT trends and maintain safe, high-fidelity network practices within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technology field (Must be a current NYSC member).

• Experience: 0–2 years of experience. (Direct experience with Cisco networking devices is a major advantage).

• Certifications: Current or aspiring CCNA or CompTIA A+ holders are highly encouraged.
