Job Description:

We are seeking a technically rigorous and analytically sharp Billing Support Engineer to anchor the integrity of our Business Support Systems (BSS). In the high-velocity ISP and Telecom sector, success is defined by "Transaction Fidelity", the ability to ensure that every kilobyte of data and every service interaction is accurately metered, rated, and invoiced without leakage. This role is designed for a "Systems Orchestrator" with 3–6 years of experience who can blend "Database Troubleshooting" with the "Operational Logic" required to manage complex service provisioning workflows.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Error Billing Cycles and Seamless Service Integration." You will be the technical steward of our revenue platforms: responsible for troubleshooting billing logs, supporting UAT for system upgrades, and automating high-stakes financial reports. If you possess "Analytical Grit," a background in Electrical/Computer Engineering, and a deep understanding of SQL and BSS architectures, we want you to drive our operational excellence.

Requirements:

1. BSS Infrastructure & Transaction Governance

• System Stewardship: Oversee the day-to-day health of Billing/BSS platforms, ensuring 99.9% uptime for rating engines and invoicing modules.

• Forensic Troubleshooting: Monitor and analyze system events, transaction records, and billing logs to proactively identify and resolve anomalies before they impact the customer.

• Revenue Assurance: Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies and invoice disputes, ensuring alignment between network usage and financial records.

2. Integration & Provisioning Orchestration

• Service Lifecycle Management: Provide technical support for data plan configuration, product setups, and the enforcement of complex billing policies.

• Network Integration: Assist in integrating third-party applications and network elements into the billing core, ensuring seamless automated service provisioning.

• UAT & Deployment: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system upgrades, acting as the technical lead for go-live activities involving billing migrations or new feature rollouts.

3. Data Intelligence & Documentation

• Automated Reporting: Generate and automate performance and financial reports for Finance, Sales, and Technical leadership using SQL and database queries.

• Process Documentation: Maintain high-fidelity technical records, system architectures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the billing department.

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Customer Care and Finance teams to translate commercial requirements into technical billing configurations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering.

• Experience: 3–6 years specifically supporting Billing/BSS platforms within an ISP or Telecom environment.

• Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of billing architectures, service provisioning workflows, and SQL/Database management.

Core Competencies

• Analytical Grit: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a "Zero-Error" mindset regarding data accuracy.

• Certification Edge: Relevant certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or MCSE are highly desirable.
