Job Description:

• The Intercontinental Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting a wide variety of international dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and hygiene.
• The role requires creativity, consistency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook intercontinental dishes (Continental, Asian, Mediterranean, American, etc.).
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are met.
• Develop and update menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Manage food preparation timelines during service.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Follow food safety and kitchen safety regulations.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Intercontinental/Continental Chef.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Culinary certification is an advantage.
