Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Human Resources Personnel to join our team in Lagos. This role is essential for maintaining a positive, productive, and compliant workplace culture. You will be the primary point of contact for employee lifecycle management, from the first interview to career development and everything in between.
Requirements:
Recruitment & Staffing: Lead the end-to-end hiring process—sourcing top talent, conducting screenings and interviews, and facilitating seamless onboarding for new hires.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll, employee benefits, pension schemes, and compensation packages.
Employee Relations: Serve as the bridge between management and staff, fostering a healthy work environment by mediating conflicts, handling grievances, and managing disciplinary procedures fairly.
Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce company policies regarding workplace conduct, performance management, and equal opportunity standards.
Training & Development: Identify skills gaps within the team, coordinate training programs, and support career development initiatives.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure the company maintains strict compliance with labor laws and health and safety standards to protect both the staff and the business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in a generalist HR role is highly preferred.
Professional Certification: Membership or active certification with professional bodies like the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) is a major advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HR management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for payroll).
Strong understanding of the Nigerian Labor Act and workplace regulatory frameworks.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing sensitive personnel records and payroll data.
