About Company:
Zedcrest Capital is a full service capital management firm, with core interests in fixed income securities trading, asset management and proprietary investments.
Job Description:
We are seeking a methodical and strategically-minded HR Shared Services Manager to lead our centralized HR operations. In this role, you will be the custodian of the "HR Engine," ensuring that every employee touchpoint—from contracts and leave to compensation and exits—is delivered with clinical accuracy and exceptional service standards.
This role is designed for a data-driven leader who can bridge the gap between human capital and operational efficiency. You will own the integrity of our HR data, architect competitive compensation and benefits frameworks, and drive the digital transformation of our internal processes. If you are an HR operations expert with a mastery of SLAs, Regulatory Compliance, and Total Rewards, we want you to lead our Shared Services function.
Requirements:
1. Centralized HR Operations & SLA Governance
Service Architecture: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of HR documentation, including contracts, confirmations, leave administration, and exit processing.
Performance Standards: Establish and enforce clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Times (TATs) to ensure seamless internal customer service.
Escalation Management: Serve as the final technical point for complex operational issues, ensuring resolution aligns with policy and empathy.
2. Compensation, Benefits & Rewards Strategy
Subject Matter Expertise: Provide high-level guidance on job grading, salary structures, and benefits administration to ensure market competitiveness.
Fiscal Stewardship: Partner with Finance to manage benefits costs, lead vendor negotiations/renewals, and utilize data for precise budgeting and forecasting.
Data-Driven Rewards: Use compensation analytics to support leadership in making informed people-related financial decisions.
3. Data Integrity, Reporting & Automation
Data Governance: Own the accuracy and "source of truth" for all HR data across systems, ensuring 100% reliability for leadership dashboards.
Process Transformation: Identify and execute opportunities for automation and digitization, partnering with IT to eliminate manual redundancies.
Audit & Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to Nigerian labor laws and internal policies, maintaining "audit-ready" employee files and statutory records.
4. Stakeholder Synergy & Team Leadership
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with HRBPs, Finance, and Talent Management to ensure that Shared Services supports the broader business strategy.
Capability Building: Lead and coach the HRSS team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within HR Operations or Shared Services.
Industry Context: Experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
Certification: CIPM, SHRM-CP/SCP, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
Core Competencies
Systems Thinking: Ability to design and implement standardized, scalable processes across a large organization.
Analytical Mastery: Strong proficiency in managing complex data sets and generating actionable reporting insights.
Regulatory Acumen: Deep understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
Service Mindset: A relentless focus on improving the employee experience through operational excellence.
