Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber HR Manager to lead the optimization of our Performance Management and Learning & Development (L&D) frameworks. In this role, you will be the custodian of the organization’s productivity engine, ensuring that our Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework is executed with precision and that our learning initiatives deliver a measurable Return on Investment (ROI).

You will act as a strategic advisor to department heads, providing the structured analytics and workforce insights needed to drive promotions, succession planning, and performance interventions. If you are a data-driven HR professional with a mastery of career progression governance and a passion for building high-performance cultures, we want you to lead this critical function.

Requirements:

1. Performance Engineering & BSC Administration

  • Framework Governance: Implement and administer the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), ensuring that individual KPIs are cascaded correctly from corporate objectives.

  • Appraisal Lifecycle: Coordinate quarterly reviews and bi-annual comprehensive appraisals, serving as the Secretary to the Appraisal Review Committee (ARC).

  • Analytical Insights: Collate results and categorize outcomes—identifying high-potentials for promotion and managing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for those requiring support.

2. Talent Mobility & Career Progression

  • Promotion Governance: Monitor tenure and eligibility requirements, preparing data-driven ranking documentation to facilitate objective promotion decisions by Management.

  • Succession Readiness: Maintain career progression dashboards and support workforce readiness analysis to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.

  • Policy Integrity: Validate all promotion recommendations against organizational structure and policy criteria to ensure meritocracy and fairness.

3. Strategic Learning & L&D ROI

  • Needs Analysis (TNA): Conduct deep-dive Training Needs Analysis in collaboration with department heads to bridge competency gaps.

  • Development Planning: Maintain Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and manage the annual training calendar and budget.

  • Impact Assessment: Move beyond attendance tracking to conduct post-training assessments, measuring the actual impact of learning on employee output and departmental efficiency.

4. Regional Operations & Data Integrity

  • Southwest Oversight: Provide operational HR support for the Southwest region, including staff data audits and compliance spot checks on attendance and welfare.

  • Data Stewardship: Maintain absolute accuracy in the HRIS regarding performance and learning data, ensuring the organization is always "audit-ready."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields. (Master’s degree is a plus).

  • Certifications: Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD) is highly preferred.

  • Experience: 6 – 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically managing performance systems.

Technical Competencies

  • BSC Mastery: Proven experience implementing and managing the Balanced Scorecard.

  • L&D Expertise: Hands-on experience in TNA, curriculum coordination, and ROI reporting.

  • Analytical Rigor: Advanced proficiency in HR analytics, dashboards, and reporting to support executive decision-making.

₦500,000 - ₦700,000/month
