Job Description:

We are looking for a high-energy, process-driven Talent Specialist to lead our end-to-end talent lifecycle in Lagos. This role is designed for a professional who understands that "talent" is more than just filling a vacancy—it is about identifying high-potential individuals, nurturing their growth, and ensuring the organization's future through robust succession planning.

As the custodian of the employee journey, you will bridge the gap between initial attraction and long-term leadership readiness. You will be responsible for sourcing elite talent, designing impactful learning interventions, and mapping out the future leaders of the organization. Requirements:

1. Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the complete hiring funnel, from drafting compelling job descriptions and sourcing passive candidates to conducting competency-based interviews and managing the offer process.

  • Employer Branding: Position the company as an employer of choice in the Lagos market to attract high-caliber professionals in a competitive landscape.

  • Selection Science: Utilize modern assessment tools and interview techniques to ensure "best-fit" hires that align with both technical requirements and company culture.

2. Integrated Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Gap Analysis: Identify organizational competency gaps and design training programs that address both immediate operational needs and future strategic goals.

  • Curriculum Coordination: Partner with department heads to facilitate internal and external learning sessions, ensuring a high Return on Investment (ROI) for all training spend.

  • Development Plans: Work with employees to create Individual Development Plans (IDPs) that foster continuous professional growth.

3. Succession Planning & Talent Readiness

  • Pipeline Management: Identify high-potential (HiPo) employees and develop structured career paths to ensure business continuity for critical roles.

  • Talent Mapping: Facilitate "9-Box Grid" sessions with management to visualize the organization's talent bench strength and identify flight risks or leadership gaps.

  • Discretion & Ethics: Handle all sensitive data regarding performance, potential, and career movement with the highest level of professional confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

  • Experience: 3–4 years of progressive experience in HR, specifically focused on recruitment and L&D.

  • Certification: CIPM or relevant HR certifications are mandatory for this role.

  • Recruitment Mastery: Proven ability to navigate the full recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.
