Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned and people-focused Human Resource Manager (HRM) to serve as the heartbeat of our organizational operations. This role is designed for a strategic leader who can balance high-level workforce planning with the nuanced management of employee relations and workplace culture.

As the HRM, you will transition the HR function from an administrative department to a value-driving partner. You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle—from attracting top-tier talent and driving performance to ensuring our organizational culture remains competitive and compliant with labor laws. Requirements:

1. Strategic Leadership & Culture Architecture

• Executive Advisory: Act as the Chief HR Advisor to the Group, providing professional leadership across all departments and contributing to the strategic scaling of the business.

• Culture & Branding: Design and drive the adoption of a unique organizational culture and employer brand that positions Oilserv as the "Employer of Choice" in the energy sector.

• Diversity & Inclusion: Champion the Group’s policies on Equality of Opportunity, Diversity, and Inclusion, ensuring these values are embedded in the DNA of the workforce.

2. Technical HR Excellence & Organizational Development (OD)

• OD Strategy: Plan and implement comprehensive Organizational Development strategies to refine the Group's structure and improve systemic efficiency.

• Total Rewards & Market Agility: Monitor and adapt remuneration structures to remain competitive against market and currency fluctuations, ensuring the pay structure meets both staff expectations and fiscal sustainability.

• Talent Lifecycle: Oversee the full spectrum of HR services, including strategic recruitment, performance moderation, succession planning, and pension administration.

3. Compliance, Governance & QHSE

• Legal Stewardship: Update and execute HR policies in strict alignment with pertinent Nigerian Labour Laws and international best practices.

• HSE Integration: Drive absolute compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (QHSE) policies, ensuring the safety of all stakeholders across Oilserv's business operations.

• ERP Proficiency: Leverage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to provide data-driven insights into operational performance and employee engagement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (Advanced degrees in HR or Business are an advantage).

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years in Human Resources Management, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership/Directorship role.

• Certifications: Must hold professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD).

Core Competencies

• Industrial Relations: Deep understanding of the Nigerian labor landscape, especially within the Oil & Gas sector.

• Strategic Mentorship: Proven ability to coach and mentor high-performing HR teams.

• ERP Mastery: Advanced proficiency in using Enterprise HR systems to manage large-scale workforces.

• Financial Acumen: Ability to manage HR budgets and compensation structures in a volatile economic climate.
