Job Description:
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to manage the heartbeat of their organization: the people. In the retail and FMCG sectors, success depends on having the right talent in the right place at the right time. You will be responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring that recruitment is seamless, records are impeccable, and labor compliance is absolute.
This role is designed for an HR professional who balances administrative precision with a people-first mindset. You will not only manage files and payroll data but also drive the initiatives that keep staff motivated and engaged.
Requirements:
1. Operational Leadership & Strategy
Process Engineering: Plan and implement the most efficient administrative procedures to streamline workflows across all company departments.
Policy Governance: Act as the custodian of departmental procedures, ensuring that all support operations align with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Resource Optimization: Oversee the allocation of office resources, budgets, and physical assets to ensure a high-functioning work environment.
2. Team Management & Coordination
Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of administrative professionals, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of accountability.
Cross-Departmental Synergy: Act as the primary liaison between various departments to ensure that administrative support is tailored to specific functional needs.
Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular audits of team output and administrative costs to identify areas for professional development or cost-saving.
3. Facility & Vendor Stewardship
Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external service providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure the best value and quality of service.
Inventory & Asset Control: Oversee the procurement of office supplies and the maintenance of company equipment and facilities.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure the office environment meets all health, safety, and security standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., Business Administration, Management, or Social Sciences). Professional certifications in Management are an advantage.
Experience: Proven track record as an Administration Manager or in a senior administrative leadership role.
Core Competencies: Deep understanding of office management procedures, financial budgeting, and departmental policy formulation.
