Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Hospital Operations Manager to serve as the strategic engine of our healthcare facility in Anthony. In a hospital environment, operations are a high-stakes ecosystem where administrative precision directly impacts clinical outcomes. This role is designed for a "Healthcare Systems Architect", someone with 3+ years of experience who can bridge the gap between medical staff requirements and administrative efficiency.

Your mission is to ensure that every patient touchpoint, from front-desk registration to equipment availability, operates at peak performance. You will be responsible for the entire operational lifecycle: from managing administrative staff and optimizing workflows to monitoring tight budgets and ensuring medical equipment is meticulously maintained. If you possess the leadership grit to manage a diverse team and the problem-solving ability to enhance patient satisfaction, we want you to lead our operations.

Requirements:

1. Service Delivery & Workflow Optimization

  • Daily Operational Oversight: Ensure the hospital runs smoothly by supervising administrative staff and coordinating office activities across all departments.

  • Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with medical teams to identify bottlenecks in patient flow, optimizing the journey from admission to discharge.

  • Policy Governance: Implement and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) that elevate the standard of patient care and safety.

2. Resource Stewardship & Financial Control

  • Budget Monitoring: Oversee the operational budget, ensuring that costs are controlled without compromising the quality of medical services.

  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the procurement and inventory of essential medical supplies, ensuring that the facility is never under-resourced.

  • Facility Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of medical equipment and hospital infrastructure to prevent downtime in critical care.

3. Patient Experience & Compliance

  • Satisfaction Initiatives: Design and monitor feedback loops to measure patient satisfaction, implementing corrective actions where service gaps are identified.

  • Administrative Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of administrative professionals, fostering a culture of empathy, professionalism, and high performance.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure all administrative and operational activities comply with Nigerian healthcare regulations and internal hospital policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive operations and office management experience within a Healthcare or Clinical setting.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Hospital Management Systems (HMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
