Job Description:

• Industry Familiarity: Previous work experience in a similar industry, enhancing understanding of catering best practices.
• Menu and Recipe Interpretation: Proficient in understanding and interpreting menus and recipes, ensuring accurate food preparation and presentation.
• Catering Certification: A catering certificate is an added advantage, highlighting formal training and expertise in catering practices.

Requirements:

• Hygiene Standards Application: Knowledge of and adherence to catering hygiene standards, ensuring food safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Government Relations: Established relationships with Federal Government Agencies concerning industry requirements, facilitating compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree Requirement: Graduate with a BSc or HND Certificate in a relevant field, providing foundational knowledge in catering and food service management.
• Certifications
• HSE Certifications: Hold HSE Level 1-3 Certificates, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the catering industry.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of industrial catering experience, showcasing expertise in food service management and operations.
• Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate: Certified in food safety and hygiene, essential for maintaining high standards in food preparation and service.
• Nebosh Certificate: A Nebosh Certificate is an added advantage, demonstrating advanced knowledge in occupational health and safety.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Multitasking Ability: Strong multitasking skills to achieve results within specified timelines, crucial for managing multiple catering events.
• Organizational Skills: High level of organization and attention to detail, essential for maintaining catering hygiene standards and service quality.
