Job Description:
- Planning and managing the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and job postings.
- Ensuring the hiring practices are fair, compliant with labour laws, and align with the company's diversity and inclusion goals. Addressing employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
- Mediating disputes and resolving conflicts between employees and management, identifying training needs, developing and delivering training programmes, and evaluating their effectiveness
- Supporting employee career development and succession planning.
- Managing employee compensation and benefits programmes, including salaries, bonuses, health insurance, and retirement plans.
- Ensuring that compensation practices are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Stay current with employment laws and regulations and ensure that the hospital's Human Resources practices comply with them.
- Managing Human Resources records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements
- Contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the hospital's overall business goals
- Working with management to address HR challenges and opportunities,
- Ensuring workplace safety and well-being, managing employee performance, and conducting performance appraisals.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, or any of the Social Sciences.
- A master's degree will be an advantage.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), SHRM would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
- Previous work experience in a hospital will also be an added advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Nigerian healthcare, laws, Nigerian labour laws, and compliance requirements.
Other Requirements:
- All candidates must be highly motivated team players who are willing to go the extra mile.
- They should possess excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills are essential.
- Prior knowledge and experience in the medical field would be an advantage.
