Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Head, Financial Operations & Reporting to anchor the fiscal engine of our Lagos operations. In a specialized corporate landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the financial close and the precision of the tax compliance success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize company-wide expenditure with the clinical precision required for IFRS Reporting, Internal Controls, and Strategic Decision Support. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect", specifically an expert in General Accounting and Tax Administration who can blend "Regulatory Grit" (managing audits and statutory remittances) with the "Strategic Agility" required to transform raw data into actionable insights for top management.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Reporting Governance
Reporting Sovereignty: Coordinate the development of an effective financial reporting system with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Information Integrity."
Statement Architecture: Coordinate the preparation of final accounts and timely financial statements (IFRS/IAS), providing the "Structural Foundation" for regulatory compliance.
Integrity Stewardship: Maintain continuous lines of communication with management on critical financial issues, ensuring the "Source of Strategic Insight" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Tax Logic
Tax Sovereignty: Oversee company-wide tax administration including planning, reconciliation, and periodic remittance, acting as the primary "Source of Statutory Compliance."
Transaction Architecture: Review and monitor enhanced posting processes to ensure data quality, providing the "Functional Foundation" for accurate bookkeeping.
Reconciliation Stewardship: Manage the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and vendor sub-ledgers, maintaining the "Source of General Ledger Health."
3. Operational Integrity & Leadership Power
Expenditure Sovereignty: Authorize transactions in line with approved authority limits and lead the expenditure control team, acting as the primary "Source of Cost Discipline."
Control Architecture: Develop and ensure compliance with internal controls and accrual processes, providing the "Relational Foundation" for audit-ready operations.
Velocity Logic: Utilize People Leadership and Data Processing skills to accelerate the "Data-to-Insight" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Organizational Output."
