Job Description:
The HFCS will oversee the management and execution of all internal functions, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and governance standards.
- Financial Governance & Management
- Planning & Oversight: Lead firm-wide budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning. Direct the Finance Manager to ensure timely, accurate, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting, including monthly management accounts.
- Controls & Audit: Design, implement, and rigorously enforce internal financial controls. Manage relations with external auditors and ensure full statutory compliance (tax, pension, etc.).
- Advisory Execution: Act as the main internal point of contact for the Fractional CFO, executing the advised high-level financial structures and governance frameworks within the firm.
- Operations, Systems & Administration
- Operational Leadership: Manage all non-financial operational systems, including procurement, vendor management, IT/digital infrastructure, logistics, and facilities management.
- Process Improvement: Lead the development, documentation, and communication of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and corporate policies across the firm.
- System Integrity: Oversee the integrity and optimization of key internal platforms (QBO, HRIS, documentation management).
- Human Resources & People Management
- HR Strategy: Supervise the Operations & HR Manager to ensure effective management of the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance review cycles, and staff retention.
- People and Culture: Ensure alignment between HR practices and the firm's culture, values, and strategic direction. Drive employee engagement, retention initiatives, welfare, and internal communication.
- Learning and Development: Lead workforce planning, competency development, and training strategy.
- Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with Nigerian labour law and internal ethical standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 7–12 years of progressive professional experience, with significant senior management tenure leading integrated financial and administrative functions within a professional services or advisory environment.
- Qualifications: ICAN/ACCA certification (completed or at final stage) is strongly preferred. A relavant Bachelor’s degree is required. Training in HR, project management, or operations is an added advantage.
- Technical Acumen: Deep knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS), corporate tax, and regulatory compliance. Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience successfully managing cross-functional teams (specifically Finance and Operations/HR) and providing senior counsel to executive leadership.
