Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performance Freight Sales Executive to serve as a primary engine for our revenue growth. In the competitive world of freight forwarding, success is built on a blend of market intelligence and unshakeable client trust. Your mission is to identify untapped business opportunities and deliver tailored logistics solutions that solve complex supply chain challenges for our clients.
You will act as a strategic consultant, managing the entire sales lifecycle—from cold prospecting and contract negotiation to high-level account management. If you have 3–5 years of experience in the logistics sector and a proven track record of consistently hitting seven-figure revenue targets, we invite you to lead our market expansion.
Requirements:
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
Prospecting Excellence: Identify and secure new high-value business opportunities in freight forwarding (Air, Sea, and Land) to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
Consultative Selling: Design and present sophisticated sales proposals that align our logistics capabilities with the specific supply chain needs of potential clients.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on service level agreements (SLAs) and contract terms to ensure profitable and sustainable partnerships.
2. Strategic Account Management
Relationship Stewardship: Build and maintain deep-rooted relationships with key corporate accounts, serving as their primary advocate within the firm.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate closely with the operations and clearing teams to ensure that the "promises made in sales" are delivered with operational excellence.
Value-Added Upselling: Continuously evaluate client needs to introduce additional logistics services, such as warehousing, insurance, or last-mile delivery.
3. Market Intelligence & CRM Governance
Trend Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of global shipping trends, fluctuating freight rates, and competitor activities.
Data Stewardship: Maintain meticulously accurate sales records and pipeline reports using CRM tools to provide leadership with clear growth forecasts.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 3–5 years of aggressive sales experience specifically within freight forwarding or logistics.
Track Record: Proven ability to source, negotiate, and close high-stakes logistics deals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
Tech IQ: High proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and presentations.
Core Competencies
Negotiation: A "closer" mindset with the ability to navigate complex pricing structures and objections.
Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, capable of influencing C-suite decision-makers.
