Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performance Sales Manager / Customer Sales Executive to spearhead our business growth in Akure, Ondo State. In the competitive FMCG/Manufacturing landscape, the Sales Manager is the primary architect of revenue, responsible for bridging the gap between our products and the regional market.
Your mission is to expand our footprint across retail and distribution channels, moving beyond account management to aggressive market development. You will lead a team of sales representatives, optimize regional logistics, and utilize data to outperform competitors. If you have 3+ years of experience in the FMCG sector and a proven track record of smashing targets, we invite you to lead our Akure territory.
Requirements:
1. Territory Expansion & Distribution Management
Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the Akure region and surrounding territories.
Channel Orchestration: Manage the delicate balance between high-volume distributors and the granular retail market to ensure product availability at all touchpoints.
Strategic Onboarding: Lead the acquisition of new high-value clients while deepening relationships with our existing customer base.
2. Strategic Planning & Field Leadership
Revenue Engineering: Develop and execute strategic sales plans that translate organizational goals into regional success.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of sales representatives, ensuring they hit their daily targets and maintain professional standards.
Market Intelligence: Conduct rigorous competitive analysis and market research to stay ahead of pricing trends and evolving customer needs.
3. Operational Logistics & Brand Representation
Supply Chain Synergy: Monitor regional stock levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure zero delays in delivery and fulfillment.
Professional Advocacy: Serve as the brand's primary representative at trade fairs, exhibitions, and corporate engagement events.
Data-Driven Reporting: Prepare comprehensive sales reports and actionable recommendations for management using modern CRM and reporting tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven sales and business development experience, ideally in FMCG or Manufacturing.
Mobility: Must be willing to travel within and beyond the assigned region and possess a valid driver’s license.
Agility: Must be tech-savvy and available to resume immediately.
