We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the bank, including transaction processing, record keeping, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
• The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in line with, CBN guidelines, and Bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and ledgers.

Expense monitoring.

• Process payments, invoices, and staff reimbursements in line with approval processes.
• Monitor income and expenses to ensure accurate posting into the system.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports to CBN, NDIC, FIRS, and other authorities.
• Provide support during internal and external audits by collating required documents.
• Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related role

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
