In a global conglomerate, the integrity of financial data is the foundation of strategic decision-making. Your mission is to own the daily accounting cycle—ensuring that every invoice, reconciliation, and report is executed with surgical precision and in full compliance with international standards.
This role is designed for a professional who doesn’t just "input data" but understands the story behind the numbers. If you have 3–5 years of experience, a mastery of modern ERP systems, and the analytical grit to resolve complex financial discrepancies, we invite you to help us maintain our gold standard of financial excellence.
Requirements:
1. Full-Cycle Financial Processing (P2P & O2C)
Transaction Integrity: Process accounts payable (P2P) and receivable (O2C) with high accuracy, ensuring all invoices are vetted, coded, and recorded in the correct accounting period.
Ledger Governance: Maintain an organized general ledger, ensuring that all financial entries are backed by verifiable documentation.
Payment Orchestration: Manage vendor payment cycles and monitor customer aging reports to ensure healthy cash flow levels.
2. Reconciliation & Rigorous Reporting
Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform regular, detailed bank reconciliations to identify and resolve outstanding items or discrepancies immediately.
Reporting Support: Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing the data necessary for liquidity and performance tracking.
Audit Readiness: Maintain meticulous, chronologically organized records to ensure a seamless process during internal and external audits.
3. Compliance, Accuracy & Stakeholder Liaison
Standards Adherence: Ensure all accounting activities comply with IFRS/GAAP and Contec Global’s internal financial policies.
Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively investigate "red flags" in financial documents, coordinating with procurement or sales teams to fix root causes.
Professional Communication: Act as a key point of contact for vendor and client inquiries, resolving payment or billing issues with professional diplomacy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in a dedicated accounting or finance role.
Software Mastery: Proficiency in at least one major ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Sage, or QuickBooks) is mandatory.
Technical IQ: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Complex Formulas) for data manipulation and reporting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (ICAN/ACCA) are a significant advantage.
Core Competencies
Analytical Prowess: Ability to spot patterns, errors, and opportunities for cost optimization within financial data.
Attention to Detail: An uncompromising commitment to accuracy and meeting tight month-end deadlines.
Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who identifies operational bottlenecks and suggests process improvements.
