We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Company Accountant to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence. In this senior role, you are not just a record-keeper; you are a financial architect. Your mission is to safeguard the organization’s assets, optimize cash flow, and provide the data-driven insights necessary for the CEO and CFO to make high-stakes decisions.
With a portfolio that includes Treasury Management, Foreign Exchange Hedging, and Staff Development, you will ensure our financial health in a volatile market. Requirements:
1. Treasury & Risk Mitigation
Cash Flow Governance: Architect and oversee liquidity forecasts, fund use schedules, and treasury controls to minimize financial risk and ensure operational continuity.
FX & Hedging Strategy: Manage foreign currency transactions and implement sophisticated hedging strategies to mitigate exchange rate volatility and optimize performance.
Capital Structure: Oversee banking and borrowing arrangements, ensuring the company maintains an optimal financing structure with minimal servicing costs.
2. Financial Reporting & Strategic Advisory
Full-Cycle Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommending corrective actions to the leadership team.
Growth & Efficiency: Advise on and implement best-practice methods to aggressively drive revenue growth and reduce operational costs.
Policy Architecture: Periodically review and develop formal finance policies and SOPs to ensure 100% compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards.
3. Operational Control & People Leadership
Transaction Oversight: Supervise all payment functions and daily bank reconciliations to maintain an error-free ledger and minimize discrepancies.
Audit & Compliance: Lead the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring all statutory remittances (Tax, Pension, etc.) are executed with precision.
Talent Development: Serve as a mentor to the finance team, focusing on succession planning, high-performance coaching, and technical knowledge sharing.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Experience: 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
Certifications: ACCA, ICAN, CPA, or CFA professional membership is highly preferred.
Technical IQ: Mastery of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SAGE) and a deep understanding of corporate finance and risk management.
