About Company:
Sophia ERP Limited (SEL) is an Enterprise Solutions Development Organization, on a mission to power Governments and Businesses with cost effective and suitable Digital Transformation solutions.
Job Description:
We are seeking an analytically rigorous, commercially astute, and highly organized Finance & Admin Officer to anchor our corporate finance infrastructure and streamline our daily business operations. In this dual-capacity role, you will serve as both the financial custodian and the operational engine of the organization, ensuring absolute fiscal discipline while driving internal productivity, manpower optimization, and client service excellence.
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between structured accounting principles (tax compliance, cash flow engineering, ledger auditing) and proactive corporate administration (talent pipeline management, service level agreement enforcement, and high-value client relations).
Requirements:
1. Financial Engineering & Fiscal Compliance
Transaction Architecture: Document, analyze, and report on all corporate financial transactions, maintaining rigorous accounting controls by enforcing policy frameworks.
Cash Flow & Management Reporting: Monitor and optimize corporate cash flows. Compile, summarize, and present key management reports and data-backed financial insights to guide executive decision-making.
Receivables & Billing Pipeline: Generate and dispatch professional invoices. Proactively track, monitor, and send prompt payment reminders to clients on retainers and ongoing service offerings, issuing official receipts immediately upon liquidation.
Ledger Reconciliation: Substantiate corporate transactions by auditing primary documents, resolving financial discrepancies swiftly through detailed account reviews.
Tax Architecture & Audit Stewardship: Prepare annual accounts, calculate tax returns, and collaborate directly with external auditors to ensure absolute compliance with all federal and state tax obligations.
Payroll & Vendor Management: Administer the monthly staff payroll architecture and execute seamless, timely payouts to all third-party vendors and contractors.
2. Client Service & SLA Management
Communications Lead: Act as the primary corporate conduit for client requests and inquiries, utilizing authorized channels to guarantee accelerated response times and friction-free query resolution.
Project Synchronization: Communicate seamlessly with cross-functional technical teams and management regarding active project statuses to ensure client milestones match initial project scopes, standards, and delivery timelines.
SLA Enforcement: Enforce full, proactive alignment with all client Service Level Agreements (SLAs), corporate contracts, and formal terms of engagement.
Engagement Coordination: Organize, schedule, facilitate, and compile actionable technical briefs on high-level client engagements, board meetings, and presentations.
3. Corporate Administration & Manpower Coordination
Talent Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end human resource framework, including manpower acquisition, structural onboarding, staff retention initiatives, performance appraisal tracking, and formal disengagement protocols.
Resource & Task Allocation: Delegate operational tasks to internal teams, monitoring execution velocities to ensure organizational deadlines are met.
Office Logistics & Upkeep: Manage corporate office supplies, audit procurement overheads, and maintain a safe, secure, pristine, and highly professional business environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Professional Credentials
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting or Economics from an accredited tertiary institution.
Professional Charter: Must have commenced or completed professional exams with ICAN or ACCA. Active charter status is highly advantageous.
Added Credential: Completion of any recognized leadership, project management, or business administration course is a distinct advantage.
Technical Competencies
Software Tool Stack: Practical proficiency in modern cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) alongside mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Advanced Excel for financial modeling).
Industry Trend Awareness: Kept up-to-date with contemporary workplace productivity software, digital tracking tools, and automation architectures.
Core Capabilities & Soft Skills
Acuteness & Integrity: Impeccable professional ethics, strong business acumen, and an organic interest in corporate wealth growth.
Task Discipline: Highly performance-driven team leader with a demonstrated capacity to multi-task, manage stress, and hit strict fiscal deadlines.
Interpersonal Matrix: Elite written and verbal communication style paired with polished negotiation and people management skills.
