Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Factory Manager to lead our industrial operations in Itobe, Kogi State. This is a senior-level role (5+ years experience) designed for an "Operational Strategist"—someone who can command a complex production environment, balancing high output with uncompromising safety and quality standards.

Your mission is to serve as the heartbeat of the plant. You will be responsible for the entire production lifecycle, from raw material processing to final quality assurance. You will manage staff, optimize machinery uptime, and ensure that our facility operates as a model of industrial efficiency. If you have the engineering depth to troubleshoot processing equipment and the leadership grit to manage a large industrial workforce, we want you to lead our Itobe facility.

Requirements:

1. Production Architecture & Efficiency

• Workflow Optimization: Plan and supervise daily production cycles to ensure maximum throughput and resource utilization.

• Staff Command: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring that shifts are optimized and labor productivity remains high.

• Strategic Planning: Develop long-term production roadmaps that align with business growth targets.

2. Technical Integrity & Maintenance

• Asset Stewardship: Monitor equipment performance and implement a rigorous Preventive Maintenance Schedule to minimize unscheduled downtime.

• Mineral Processing Oversight: Leverage technical knowledge to oversee processing stages (crushing, milling, or refining), ensuring optimal yield.

• Data-Driven Analysis: Prepare detailed operational reports and performance analyses to identify bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities.

3. Quality, Safety & Environmental Governance (HSE)

• Standards Implementation: Establish and enforce strict quality control systems to ensure the final product meets all specifications.

• Safety Leadership: Ensure 100% compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, maintaining a "Zero-Accident" culture.

• Regulatory Liaison: Ensure the plant meets all statutory industrial standards required for Kogi State operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial), Industrial Management, or a related technical field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience managing industrial or processing plant operations.

• Advantage: Specific experience or knowledge in mineral processing (highly relevant for the Itobe/Kogi industrial corridor).

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage large teams and foster a disciplined, high-performance culture.

• Problem-Solving: Strong technical troubleshooting skills for both machinery and operational workflows.
