Job Description:
We are seeking a warm, professional, and highly organized Customer Service Officer to serve as the face of Clearview Hospital in Lekki Phase 1. In a premium healthcare setting, success is defined by "Clinical Hospitality", the ability to blend genuine empathy with the technical efficiency required to manage patient flow and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). This role is designed for a "Patient Advocate" with 1–3 years of experience who can act as a calm, courteous anchor for visitors and patients alike.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Friction Onboarding and an Exceptional First Impression." You will be the primary engine of our reception: responsible for accurate patient registration, appointment orchestration, and the professional resolution of inquiries. Requirements:
1. Clinical Hospitality & Patient Onboarding
Concierge Governance: Welcome patients and visitors with a high degree of professionalism and empathy, ensuring they feel supported from the moment they enter the facility.
EMR Stewardship: Register new and returning patients accurately within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring all bio-data and insurance details are captured without error.
Inquiry Management: Handle incoming phone calls and walk-in inquiries with courtesy, providing clear information regarding hospital services and protocols.
2. Workflow Orchestration & Flow Control
Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing the clinical calendar to minimize waiting times.
Traffic Control: Actively manage the flow of patients in the reception area, coordinating with nursing and clinical staff to ensure timely consultations.
Complaint Resolution: Address patient concerns or complaints promptly and tactfully, escalating complex issues to management while maintaining a calm environment.
3. Administrative Excellence
Demeanor & Branding: Maintain a professional appearance and a polished demeanor that reflects the premium brand standards of Clearview Hospital.
Detail Orientation: Ensure all patient records, scheduling notes, and financial billing cues are handled with high precision to prevent administrative bottlenecks.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with the administrative team to provide feedback on patient trends and suggest improvements to the front-office experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of HND or BSc in any related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in a hospital front-desk role or a high-end customer-facing environment (Lekki-based experience is a plus).
Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a clear, comforting tone.
Core Competencies
Technical Savvy: Comfort using EMR software and basic digital office tools.
Interpersonal Grit: Ability to stay calm and helpful even during high-pressure or emotionally charged patient interactions.
Organizational Mastery: Strong ability to multitask between calls, physical visitors, and data entry.
Salary
